Dionne Brand is a poet and novelist. Her most recent book of poetry, Ossuaries, won the Griffin Poetry Prize; her literary honours include the Governor General’s Literary Award, the Trillium Book Award, the Toronto Book Award, and in 2006 the Harbourfront Festival Prize for her contribution to the world of books and writing. She teaches at the University of Guelph and lives in Toronto. Her latest book of fiction is Love Enough, shortlisted for the 2015 Trillium Prize. She was a recent featured guest at the Cuirt Literary Festival, Galway, Ireland.
