Pauline Phipps currently holds a full-time, cross-disciplinary appointment in both the Women’s and Gender Studies Program and Department of History at the University of Windsor, Ontario. She teaches courses in both feminist and historically-based methods and theory with a particular interest in Victorian Britain and European Women’s History. Her recent publications include Constance Maynard’s Passions: Religion, Sexuality and an English Educational Pioneer (1849-1935), (Toronto: University of Toronto Press, 2015); and “Constance Maynard’s Languages of Love,” forthcoming in Women’s History Review.
